Window trees

September 15, 2010 § Leave a comment

I’ve always liked Robert Frost’s poem “Window Tree,” where the poet talks about how the “head” of the tree at his window is “so much concerned with outer,/mine with inner, weather.” I think about that a lot at night when I am trying to get to sleep and the trees are tossing in the wind just outside my window.
